Welcome to the Derwent Mountaineering Club (DMC). We are a club based in Matlock, Derbyshire with a wide range of outdoor interests including climbing, mountaineering, scrambling and walking. We have a diverse membership from around the Matlock area including Belper, Ashbourne, Chesterfield and Derby. We have a range of experience from novice climbers, north face summiteers, alpinists and some just out for a walk and a range of ages from under 10’s to over 80 and everything in between.
